That means fully committing to taking care of the whole self: body, mind, and soul. In addition to taking care of the self and attending classes consistently, we recommend students: listen to classical music regularly attend the ballet in person participate in class travel excursions locally and abroad (such as our Dance in Italy program ) By adopting dance as a lifestyle, not a pastime, students are able to fully reap the benefits of ballet and dance. Upcoming Events Prince of Egypt: Saturday, June 15th, 2024 See Event Information Italia Performing Arts is pleased to present its Summer Show 2024: our own adaptation for dance of Prince of Egypt, based on the Bible book of Exodus and the book by Dorothy Clarke Wilson. This year again, our dancers in every style will be featured in this one two act production. There will be two performances, both at Warren County High School, Front Royal, on Saturday June 15th at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Woodstock Ballet and Acro dancers will perform at 1:00 only. Winchester Ballet Pre-Primary 1/2, Primary and Basics and Acro level 1 dancers will perform at 5:00 only. All other Winchester dancers and Woodstock Tap dancers will perform at both times. Venue: Warren County High School, Front Royal, Virginia Saturday June 15th, 2024 1:00 and 5:00 pm Tickets: Tickets are on sale only through our ticket agency SimpleTix , and not at Italia studios. All seating is reserved. Premium tickets (front rows and center): $35.00 ($30.00 for under 16s) Regular tickets (sides of auditorium): $25.00 ($20.00 for under 16s) Budget tickets (back of auditorium): $10.00 Children under 3, not taking their own seat, do not need tickets. One of the main activities of the Institute is fundraising, which provides scholarships to families interested in exposing their children to classical training in the arts but who need help covering costs.
